Dear Local Fish Store Owner:

Thank you for your interest in our growing company. We have started a coral farm and wholesale company. Our company will differ from the other marine livestock wholesalers that you use. First and foremost, our quality of products will be unmatched. Since we grow our own coral we can control the quality better than the large wholesalers who just handle coral. Second, we will operate in a greenhouse environment to keep our cost to a minimum, meaning a more reasonably priced captive raised coral.

As many of you know, I’ve spent nearly 8 years in saltwater retail and John Loper, my partner, has been a hobbyist for over 12 years. We are putting that background to use in our new company producing fragments and small colonies of captive raised coral.  We believe that the future of the hobby will depend more and more on companies like ours as the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Flora and Fauna (C.I.T.E.S.) permits are restricted and demand for marine ornamentals grows. To make this transition as smooth a possible we need your feedback to meet the market demands. Together we can make sure the hobby never dies.

We sale our products wholesale to the trade only. We will work with you to meet any needs or address any concerns that you may have. Our knowledge is at our customers disposable, so use it to help your business succeed. We want to help improve your sales while preserving the oceans’ reefs.

If you are interested in seeing our current availability list please fax or email a copy of your business license and the completed customer application.  We here at The Coral Gardens look forward to serving you and your customers needs. You may contact us by phone at 1-205-222-4321 Monday thru Friday from 8am till 5pm central time or email us any time .

Sincerely,

Philip Root
